Total Wine & More, one of the nation’s largest alcohol retailers, is opening a new store in Springfield, Missouri. The store will be located at 3808 S. Glenstone in the Primrose Marketplace, taking over the former Bed Bath & Beyond location. The closure of Bed Bath & Beyond in 2023 due to bankruptcy left a vacant space, which is now being repurposed for the arrival of this well-known superstore.
Construction and Permitting Process
The retailer applied for a Building Project permit in December, according to records from the City of Springfield. While some preliminary work may have taken place earlier, construction activity has visibly increased in recent days. Although an official opening date has not been announced, the progress suggests that the store could be opening in the near future.
