Influential Fashion Designer Vivienne Westwood Dies At 81
The British fashion Designer Vivienne Westwood who credited the infamous punk fashion in the 1970s, has died at 81.

Westwood's company has released a statement that she died surrounded by her family in London on Thursday, December 29.

“She led an amazing life. Over the last 60 years, her innovation and impact have been immense and will continue into the future.” Westwood’s company said in a statement.
Andreas Kronthaler, the husband of Vivienne Westwood, also released a heartwarming statement by saying.

“I will continue with Vivienne in my heart. We had been working until the end, and she had given me plenty of things to get on with. Thank you, darling.” Kronthaler said.
Westwood rose to prominence for her punk-inspired fashion for more than 50 years in the industry.

During her punk days, Westwood's clothing design was T-shirts decorated with a drawing of naked boys, and one of her designs featured a swastika.
