The Internet is for Porn
One of the songs in the brilliant broadway musical ‘Avenue Q‘ is entitled ‘the internet is for porn.’ And today I discovered that that may well be true. Food Porn that is.
Food Porn promotes porn paraphernalia, food porn movies and they even have an array of food porn photos. For the dedicated Wino or Foodie however – the site has an excellent application called Food Porn Watch.
Food Porn Watch, provides an hourly review of all the foodie sites as they become updated, providing the headline of the most recent post.
Below I’ve shown all of the recent posts between yesterday (the 24th July) and this morning – and its just mind blowing how this community is just taking off. Foodies and Winos are a dedicated crow, rivaling political bloggers – with the exception that its actually fun and uplifting to read them. Just by doing a scan of Food Porn Watch I’ve found a heap of sites that really appeal to me, that I perhaps would not have found other wise.
Sites like winosandfoodies,i’m mad and i eat, confessions of a food nazi,no more ramen, apartment therapy: the kitchen, gastromical three, fiordizucca, food blog school, have fork will travel, chocolate and zucchini, no more ramen and soul fusion kitchen are sites I haven’t seen on too many blog rolls, but after a morning of reading them – I’ll definitely go back to it.
Sites like Food Porn Watch and Wine Blog Watch are brilliant because they allow you to find new content without having to jam up you RSS feeds, with blogs you don’t necessarily want to read every day.
