Durbanville Hills
Durbanville Hills Sauvignon Blanc 2006, coming in screw cap – is the wine to pick up on the way home this Friday afternoon. Stick it in the cooler next to you Mulderbosch and open the two side by side to compare them. Perhaps the only thing better than 1 glass of South African SB is a 2 glasses with two different types. Durbanville Hills is perhaps more aggressively herbaceous both on the nose and the palate. It’s grassy follow through complimented by a spritz of lime, which lends dimension to this otherwise incredibly fresh, cold, godly juice.
Heck – when last did you have freshly smoked salmon or oysters for that matter? Come on, be inspired and get down to the fish section of your Wholefoods; Twitter your friends or give them a call and get them round to your place. It’s Friday dammit!
